It seems to be a common trend that people are using the writing technique of writing in the form of a letter from charlie. following is a few examples of FF based on perks of being a wallflower;
The-Perks-of-Being-In-Love
This one is set at the diner the night before sam is about to leave for college. It definatly does well to incorperate certain traits from origional charachters, especially Patrick.
The-Perks-Of-Being-Numb
This one, i wasnt really a fan of. I think it changes alot of characteristics about charlie that make him admirable. in his letters, he doesnt get hugle descriptive about the darker side of his life. also towards the end, the writer deviates from the style of writing it as a letter.
POBW meets Kurt & Blaine
This one, although being a fan of both glee and POBW, it deveates too much from not only the origional story, but focus's too much on the intimacy between Kurt and blaine.
Following is a couple of fan VIDEO's that i found on youtube. They uses clips from glee, and the audio from the POBW trailer to make new version. is kindve well done tbh.

ReplyDeleteI really like how have included videos of fan fictions they were very interesting and cool to watch. I haven't seen the film or read the novel POBW but I learnt a bit from your links and your videos. Looking forward to reading the finished fan fic!
